Steel Mills and Foundries

Main product lines:

• Eco-friendly, non-toxic and odorless solvents (meet NR-15), with non-flammable options (meet NR-16 and NR-20) for cleaning and degreasing;
• Water-based degreasers;
• Special greases for: bearings, conveyor chains and other parts involved in continuous casting, hot rolling, cold rolling and other applications. These products are formulated to provide high quality lubrication even under adverse conditions such as extreme temperatures, corrosion by water and corrosive cooling liquids, abrasive dust, risk of overheating, among others.

Mining

For the mining industry, CLARUS Technology offers eco-friendly chemical products for cleaning and lubricating vehicles and equipment. They are products developed with the aim of providing a longer service life for the equipment, safety for the operators and non-contamination of the environment, ideal for replacing commonly used aggressive products, especially in situations where there may be spills and soil contamination.

Main products and applications:

• Robust non-flammable degreasers (meet NR-16 and NR-20): biodegradable, not controlled and not unhealthy (meet NR-15), water-based to remove dirt from oil, grease, coal and other debris. Ideal for cleaning parts, mining equipment and machinery and washing heavy vehicles, cranes and tractors;
• Eco-friendly Solvents: extractors for purification and concentration of copper, nickel, molybdenum, cobalt and other metals and minerals. Ideal for use in poorly ventilated environments and with a flash point suitable for underground use.
• Greases for all equipment used in mining processes, journals, bearings, tracks, bushings, cables, gears, extractors, loaders, presses, crushers and mills.
• Binding agents for dust control: prevent the airborne dispersion of minerals, carbon and other materials that emit particulate matter, reducing losses and soil contamination. Recommended for piles in yards, loading and unloading, and transport on conveyor belts, trucks and locomotive wagons. Help reduce losses due to mineral washing by rain. They are ideal for spraying on the ground to improve visibility and operational safety on site and reduce water and fuel consumption.
• Grinding aids: provide increased productivity by reducing the adhesion of the ore in the grinding process, increasing the sliding speed in the mill.
• Anti-fouling agents: line of anti-fouling, descaling and solubilizing products for mineral and organic incrustations retained in processes. Non-flammable and biodegradable.
• Anti-corrosion protectors for electronics and metals
