Antifoams are products specially developed for foam control in certain pH ranges, in the treatment processes of industrial waters, solutions, and effluents. They perform exceptionally well, both to inhibit foam formation and to eliminate already formed foam. Antifoams weaken foam bubbles, causing small bubbles to coalesce, transforming them into large bubbles that easily burst on the liquid's surface.
